The Contractor employing migrant workmen has to apply for licence as per Rule 7 in Form IV or Form V along with the prescribed fees and security Deposit to the concerned Deputy Director-ISH. through online portal.

Registered establishments and licensed contractors must renew their registration and license every 3 years under the IMWA. The renewal process is also relatively simple and can be completed online.
The Contractor employing migrant workmen has to apply for renewal not less than 30 days before the date of expiry of licence in Form IX. along with the prescribed fees to the concerned Deputy Director-ISH, through online portal.

Once the application form and all the required documents have been submitted, the employer or contractor will receive a registration certificate or license. The registration certificate or license is valid for a period of 3 years and must be renewed before it expires.
